Every university, one summit
The World Summit on Universities, WSU, gathers the universities of the world as equals. Its principle fits in a few words: not only the elites, but all. Large and small, public and private, famous and unknown, every university of every region has the same place at the Summit and the same voice in what it decides.
The Summit is a real platform for work, not a talk shop. Its delegates come to find practical, collective answers to the questions they share, and they leave with partners, with commitments and with texts they have shaped themselves.
Its next meeting, WSU27, takes place from 7 to 12 November 2027 at the NEST Convention Center in Belek, Antalya, Türkiye.
The most decisive decade
The university is entering its most decisive decade, and the forces that reshape it reach every campus at once. Artificial intelligence is transforming how knowledge is produced, taught, verified and trusted. The aspiration to higher education is rising in every region. Governments, markets and technology platforms increasingly define the future of learning, often with more coordination than the institutions entrusted with it.
No institution bears a comparable responsibility for knowledge, leadership and the future of societies. Yet the universities of the world have never declared, together and in their own name, the principles that bind them and the direction they choose.
A year of work, a week of decision.
Two institutions, joined in purpose
The World Summit on Universities is an independent body, registered as World Summit on Universities - WSU LLC. WSU keeps its own name, mark, domain and mailbox, and it decides its own program.
Its strategic partner is the World Universities Foundation, WUF, whose initiatives the Summit presents and whose gatherings of the year carry their work to Antalya. The partnership joins the two in purpose; it never merges them.
The Founder
The World Summit on Universities was founded by Prof. Bassem Khafagy, its Founder and Chairman.

Partners of WSU27
Institutions, companies and organizations may stand behind the Summit, its sessions, its access for delegations from every region, and its moments of the week. Each role is agreed with WSU, and partners are named only once they are confirmed. No partner shapes the texts, the findings or the decisions of the Founding Delegates.
